King Filtration offers the following services to its clients and their unique filtration needs:
Supply Chain Management
King Filtration Technologies' Single Source Supply Chain Management program helps customers reduce total filtration costs by 25% or more while simplifying supply chains and streamlining purchasing processes. This program is ideal for organizations looking to optimize inventory across multiple sites and partner with filtration experts. As an independent supplier, King Filtration offers access to over 1,500 filter brands, serving as a single source for all filtration needs.
Our implementation process ensures a seamless transition without changing preferred brands or products and without supply disruptions. Following implementation, we focus on identifying cost reductions, process improvements, and opportunities for standardization, inventory reduction, and improved inventory utilization.
Customers typically achieve documented savings exceeding 20% in the first year, with additional annual savings of 5–15% through continuous inventory improvements, product alternatives, and technical process enhancements. Results are tracked and reported through our "Targets" online portal, ensuring transparency and measurable outcomes.
Document Management
At King Filtration, we understand the importance of regulatory compliance and fast time-to-market, which is why we offer a comprehensive documentation system for product contact filtration. Our customized documentation process ensures traceability, allowing you to know exactly where your filters come from and their materials of construction (MOC). This is critical for pharmaceutical, food and beverage (FDA), and chemical industries, where drug safety and process security are non-negotiable.
We follow strict Quality Control procedures, including maintaining an Approved Filter List (AFL), recording and managing Certificates of Conformance, and inspecting all received filters for compliance with the AFL. Additionally, we ensure filters are clean, intact, and within their expiry dates, and manage manufacturer change notifications to alert you to any process-affecting changes.
Our commitment to traceability and accountability guarantees that filters are made with the exact materials specified, reducing the risk of unauthorized substitutions that could impact your process or equipment. We can further customize our program to meet your specific needs.
Supplier Audit
King Filtration requires all suppliers to complete a registration process, providing essential information to support informed business decisions for our customers. This includes supplier profiles, certifications (ISO, ASME, NSI, FDA, and others), emergency contacts, capabilities, capacity, staffing, diversity status, quality processes, and insurance details.
As part of our supplier management, we also require suppliers to document their change notification process, detailing when and how they will communicate changes regarding filter materials or availability. This ensures our customers have clear visibility and peace of mind when changes occur. King Filtration offers expert guidance to assess the impact of any changes and determine appropriate next steps.
Laboratory Analysis
King Filtration offers unmatched laboratory services and technical support to analyze fluid contaminants and provide comprehensive fluid or oil analysis for critical systems. Our advanced analytical capabilities ensure accurate filter selection, troubleshooting of existing filtration processes, and recommendations for system improvements.
Our laboratory services include HIAC particle counts, total solids content analysis, filterability testing, and X-ray fluorescence, among others. We also offer specialized testing such as ICP metals analysis, infrared spectroscopy, acid digestion, gas chromatography, and materials compatibility testing to ensure optimal filtration performance for your systems.
Filter Recycling
Save 50% or more by recycling used industrial air filters and reduce operating maintenance costs without compromising performance or equipment protection. Most industrial air intake and dust collector filters can be recycled multiple times at a fraction of the cost of new filters. Types of filters that can be recycled include dust collector cartridges, compressor intake filters, engine air intake filters (off-road vehicles), vacuum intake filters, turbine intake filters, and many more.
Recycling costs typically represent 30-40% of the price of a new filter. For example, a new filter costing $85.00 can be recycled for just $41.00. Our precise cleaning process removes all dust and debris without damaging filter media, restoring filters to 98% of their original performance.
Filters undergo a preliminary inspection for damage, after which they are cleaned using either a wet or dry process, depending on the filter type and contaminant. Post-cleaning, filters are tested for flow and pressure drop, and inspected for flaws. Recycled filters are packaged and shipped back to you, along with a quality control report for each filter.
Online Portal
For customers who enroll in our Supply Chain Management Services, King Filtration offers access to our online portal, TARGETS. This proprietary system provides visibility into documented savings at both corporate and plant location levels. TARGETS also helps manage Change Notifications from filter manufacturers when they alter materials, availability, or design elements, which is crucial for critical filtration applications.
Please contact us for a tailored demonstration of how TARGETS can help document savings and manage change.
